Assistant Minister of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Nebojsa Pokimica expressed today his gratitude to the Japanese government for their help and support of ecological projects in our country.

Speaking at the press conference on the occasion of the donation of the Japanese government to Public Communal Services Blace Pokimica pointed out that the contract on donation was signed today, which will give the municipality its first garbage container thus improving control of the communal waste.
The Japanese government donation is worth €58.000 and intended for preservation of environment and garbage containers procurement.
Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Toshio Tsunozaki stated that protection of environment is one of the main areas of interest for the Japanese government in Serbia and added that Japan will continue to support this sector despite of the difficult situation in Japan as a result of the devastating earthquake.
Japanese government donated more than €200 million to Serbia since 1999.
