51st trumpet festival in Guca ends

The 51st brass band festival in Guca ended yesterday with the announcement of the winners and a concert of Goran Bregovic.

The award for the best orchestra went to the band of Dejan Lazarevic from Pozega, while the award for the best trumpet player went to Dzambo Agusev from Macedonia.
The award for the merriest band was presented for the first time, and it was given to Italian band “No problem“ from Milan. The international competition of brass bands was held for the second time and it included ten brass brands, of which eight were from abroad and two from Serbia.
Bands from France, Romania, Bulgaria and Belgium competed for prestigious awards. According to the rules of the competition, the bands were required to play one Serbian song and one from their own country.
