European Film Festival opened on Lake Palic

Movie Director Srdjan Karanovic opened the 18th European Film Festival at the Summer Stage on Lake Palic, at which more than 90 movies from around 30 countries will be screened.
On this occasion, Karanovic received the “Aleksandar Lifka” award for his contribution to the European cinema.
The main competition programme of the festival will be opened with the film "Welcome to Germany" by Turkish director Yasemin Samdereli.
The best movies in the main competition programme will receive the Golden Tower award for the best movie, the Palic Tower for the best director, and there will also be an award for the best movie from the programme “Parallels and Encounters”.
