Delevic told the Fonet news agency that the European Commission has not yet completed its estimate and will come out with an opinion on 12 October.
She pointed out that the Serbian government is working to gain the European Commission’s positive assessment and to create a political climate in which each EU member state would vote in favour of Serbia in December at the European Council.
Delevic said that the arrest and extradition of Ratko Mladic to The Hague have improved the position of Serbia and the climate within our process of European integration.
She added that other topics are also important in the process of reforms and meeting European standards.
Delevic expressed satisfaction with the adoption of the Action Plan to meet the priorities of the European Commission's annual report, noting that 73% of recommendations have been implemented.
It is also good that there is a plan to adopt laws on public ownership and nationalisation, whose drafts will be before the government in September, Delevic said and also announced the adoption of laws on criminal and civil proceedings and rational use of energy soon.
