St. Vitus liturgy held in Gracanica Monastery

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic attended the morning liturgy for St Vitus Day (Vidovdan), which was served by Serbian Patriarch Irinej in the courtyard of the monastery of Gracanica.
The liturgy of St. Vitus, also marking the 622th anniversary of the Battle of Kosovo, was also attended by Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, State Secretaries for Kosovo-Metohija Oliver Ivanovic and Zvonimir Stevic, representatives of political parties in Serbia as well as people from public and cultural life of Serbia.
The ceremony will continue by granting rewards to families with four or more children.
The celebrating of St. Vitus ends at Gazimestan memorial site, with the memorial service dedicated to fallen heroes in Kosovo battle in 1389. The service will be held by Patriarch Irinej.
