At a press conference dedicated to the release of results of the project of publishing the second edition of the publication "European Diary: a wise choice", Obradovic said that the EU means respect of law and the system of values which brings the benefit to citizens.
The Minister explained that the said publication is used by more than 75,000 high school students in our country.
This booklet provides information on all EU institutions and the rights exercised by its citizens, he explained, adding that the publication is used by 3.5 million teens in the EU.
Head of EU Delegation in Serbia Vincent Degert said that the students in Serbia are interested in whether you will be able to travel and go to school in the EU and how EU membership will affect the preservation of their national identity.
Degert pointed out that Serbia is the only country outside the Union where this publication is published.
A survey of more than 2,500 students whose results were presented today showed that Serbia's accession to the EU is supported by 50.66% of high school students in our country.
According to the results, 32.79% of students were undecided, while 16.55% are against Serbia in the EU.
The survey was conducted in 40 secondary schools in Serbia.
Approximately 57% of high school students think that Serbia's EU membership could have a positive impact on their prospects for employment, while more than 59% of them think that it will also contribute to economic development.
