The opening of the national pavilion was also attended by Vojvodina Provincial Secretary for Culture and Public Information Milorad Djuric.
The project is implemented by the Museum of Contemporary Arts of Vojvodina, and Zivko Grozdanic is the commissioner of Serbia’s presentation at the exhibition.
The 54th Venice Biennial, which officially opens tomorrow and runs until 27 November, has gathered 88 countries.
The Serbian Pavilion at the 54th Biennial entered among the five finalists, apart from Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia and Turkey, for UniCredit Viennese prize, awarded for the support and commitment to culture and the future of contemporary art.
