Serbian Patriarch Irinej consecrates Mileseva monastery lodgings

Serbian Patriarch Irinej lit a candle at the former grave of St Sava in Mileseva monastery last night and consecrated a newly-built monastery lodgings on the eastern side of the monastery grounds.
Patriarch Irinej noted that it gives special joy to see Mileseva renewed because just a few years ago the monastery was in a poor dilapidated state. Now we can see its beauty, both architectural and spiritual.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic also attended the consecration ceremony.
