Dacic said on this occasion that this is the best indicator of how two countries and two line ministries work in the interest of ordinary people since the opening of this border crossing will be of benefit to the citizens who live on both sides of the border.
This transition could be not only, as it used to be said, the line of separation, but also the line of connection of people who live on both sides, as well as of two countries and two friendly nations, Dacic proclaimed.
He also announced that several more of such border crossings will be opened.
Dacic and Jankuloska signed today the Memorandum between the Serbian and Macedonian ministries of the interior on strengthening cooperation in internal control.
Head of the Border police unit of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior Nenad Banovic and Head of the Department for border and migration affairs of the Macedonian Ministry of the Interior Marinko Kocovski signed the Act of the standard operational procedure for conducting border checks and control at the joint border crossing Goles-Golema Crcorija.
The opening of the crossing was attended, among others, by directors of the police units of Serbia and Macedonia Milorad Veljovic and Ljupco Todorovski respectively, and by Serbian Ambassador to Macedonia Tomislav Djurin.
