Mihajlovic told a press conference following the session that a decision was made regarding the labour cost for salaries in the public sector, which is in line with the government’s decision to increase salaries and pensions by 5.5% at the end of the first quarter.
The government also adopted a Bill ratifying an agreement on visa abolishment between Serbia and Japan, he observed.
The government decided to set aside RSD 5,200,000 from the budget to stimulate employment in the municipalities of Kosovo Polje, Vucitrn and Lipljan in Kosovo-Metohija, Mihajlovic said, adding that this way, jobs will be secured for 120 people.
Thanks to amendments to the Decree on subsidising consumer loans, subsidies can now be used for purchasing furniture produced in Republika Srpska, he outlined, adding that the government also decided to set up a general hospital in Valjevo.
Mihajlovic stated that the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, unions and employers have reached an agreement that from June to December the minimum hourly wage will be RSD 102.
He explained that the government will affirm this agreement at the next session and a social agreement will then be signed.
The government made a decision on the number of special advisors in ministries, according to which ministers can have two or three special advisors, he added.
State Secretary of Justice and government’s Public Relations Coordinator Slobodan Homen stated that the working group for drafting a bill on financing political parties has incorporated all eight recommendations by the Venetian Commission in the text of this document.
The final text will be presented to the broader public next week, he announced, adding that budget allocations for parties will not be increased and will remain at the level of 0.15%.
The draft law has been added the competence of the Special Prosecution for combating organised crime for violating legal provisions, Homen said, explaining that whoever finances political parties contrary to the law will be tried before this court.
