The Spanish Agency for International Cooperation allocated for the Serbian government’s EU Accession Office a €25,000 donation for financing activities within Serbia’s EU accession communication strategy.
Office Secretary Radmila Milivojevic told a press conference that this assistance is part of the cooperation programme signed by Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Serbian Ministry of International Economic Relations last year.
According to her, the objective of communication activities is to inform Serbian citizens of the EU stabilisation and association process. Also, the activities will introduce EU policies and instruments to civil servants and local authorities.
Milivojevic said that the Serbian government’s communication strategy will be published as part of Serbia-Montenegro’s stabilisation and association process.
Spanish Ambassador to Serbia-Montenegro Mariano Garcia Munoz said that all EU countries want to see Serbia-Montenegro as member of the Union, adding that the EU Integration Office can count on the support of the Spanish government.
