The Tax Administrations of Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Republika Srpska and Bosnia- Herzegovina signed today in the Serbian government the Regional agreement on cooperation that will enable better sharing of data, prevention of tax evasion and reduction of the shadow economy.

The agreement was signed by Director of the Serbian Tax Administration Dragutin Radosavljevic, Director of the Tax Administration of Bosnia-Herzegovina Midhat Arifovic, Acting Director of the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia-Herzegovina Miro Dzakula, Acting Director of the Tax Administration of Republika Srpska Mile Banika, Director of the Tax Administration of Slovenia Mojca Centa Debeljak and Director of the Tax Administration of Montenegro Dejan Marinovic.
Radosavljevic told a press conference held after the signing ceremony that this agreement
will determine the future cooperation on the exchange of information, advanced training, education and good practices in order to improve the quality of work for the sake of the citizens and the economies of countries of the region.
Director of the Tax Administration of Serbia added that this cooperation is supported by the Intra-European Organisation of Tax Administrations.
Acting Director of the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia-Herzegovina Miro Dzakula said that cooperation could improve the quality of tax institutions and make it possible to resist the assaults of individual and organised crime and tax offenses.
Acting Director of the Tax Administration of Republika Srpska Mile Banika said that this is a new moment in regional cooperation, while Director of the Tax Administration of Montenegro Dejan Marinovic pointed to rapid changes in this field to which the states must adjust.
