Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Toshio Tsunozaki signed today a donation agreement worth €224,523 with representatives of the Hospital for Endemic Nephropathy in Lazarevac, health centre Golubac, health centre Pozarevac and Special Rehabilitation Centre "Termal" in Vrdnik.
Simonovic told a press conference that the project for the purchase of 32 mammographs for early detection and prevention of breast cancer is worth approximately €5.7 million.
Tsunozaki stressed that in order to efficiently preserve and improve the quality of human life, medical staff work hard.
He said that he believes that the grant of the government of Japan in the form of medical equipment and ambulances will contribute to improving health services in the territory of Pozarevac, Golubac, Lazarevac and Vrdnik.
The Japanese Ambassador to Serbia pointed out that health care is one of the most important areas of interest of his government and also announced continued support to the health care in Serbia, at the same time enhancing the friendly relations between the two countries.
