First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior and coordinator for the evacuation of Serbian citizens from Libya Ivica Dacic said today that the evacuation of Serbian citizens from Libya will be continued today by aircraft from Tripoli, as well as ships from that cities of Benghazi and Ras Lanufa.
Dacic pointed out that Jat Airways regular flight for Tripoli is scheduled to take off in the afternoon, and should return to Belgrade at around midnight.
If needed, another plane will be sent, but for now there is no need, he stated.
Dacic announced that ships from Tripoli and Benghazi, and the ship sent from Montenegro to the city of Ras Lanufa, based on an agreement with the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, will evacuate some 300 citizens of Serbia working there mainly for Russian companies.
