Dacic told Radio Television of Serbia that three aircraft will fly to Libya tomorrow, but that this is not sufficient to bring back all Serbian citizens who are in Libya.
He specified that the three aircraft will transport around 500 citizens, but the number of those who applied for evacuation is between 1,000 and 1,500. The First Deputy Prime Minister added that Serbia asked Turkey and Russia for help in the evacuation.
Many of our citizens live in the interior of the country which is why it is impossible to reach every single of them, but we will do everything we can to help those people, Dacic affirmed and noted that there are Serbian nationals in Libya who still do not want to go back to Serbia.
The First Deputy Prime Minister stated that Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia asked Serbia for help because they also have citizens who need to be evacuated from Libya.
