Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic voiced his pleasure last night at the fact that the German Bundestag has ratified Serbia’s Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU.
The Deputy Prime Minister’s cabinet stated that Djelic is very pleased over the fact that Germany, being the largest country in the EU, has ratified the SAA.
He thanked Bundestag Parliament Speaker Norbert Lammert and Chairman of the Committee on the Affairs of the European Union Gunther Krichbaum for their confidence in Serbia.
Djelic voiced his hope that Germany will continue supporting Serbia on its path to the EU, recalling that Germany is the 13th EU member to have ratified the SAA with Serbia.
