Bradic told Tanjug news agency that medieval culture monuments are very important for Serbia, being a potential for establishing links with other countries in the region.
He explained that the goal of the project is to establish sustainable development in seven Serbian towns which the Danube traverses – Bac, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Smederevo, Golubac, Veliko Gradiste and Kladovo.
The Minister stressed that the fact that the project had UNESCO support in its earliest stages speaks a lot about its significance, adding that the idea to promote forts in Serbia clearly shows that we care for our cultural heritage.
