Dacic meets with diaspora in Ohio

Belgrade/Cleveland, 7 February 2011

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic attended a gala dinner with diaspora in Cleveland, Ohio.

Special guests at the dinner were Honorary Consul to Ohio Alex Machaskee and Jennifer Brush from the Department of State.

The First Deputy Prime Minister presented Machaskee with a silver medallion of the Ministry of the Interior and the Serbian flag.

Yesterday he also attended a liturgy at Saint Sava church, after which he replied to questions of representatives of the diaspora mainly about obtaining Serbian citizenship, corruption and investing in Serbia.

Dacic, who is on a working visit to the United States, will meet in the upcoming days with the mayor and chief of police of Cleveland and with the attorney general of Ohio.
