Several thousands of people gathered at the event, which was an opportunity for meeting with representatives of the US Administration and others.
During his stay in Washington, Dacic met with senior officials on Capitol Hill and at the Department of State and on these occasions, the support for Serbia's European path and to negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina was confirmed.
The First Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that it was agreed that relations between the US and Serbia are on the rise and the commitment to resolving all contentious issues through peaceful means and negotiations was reaffirmed.
He said that the cooperation between the two countries in the fight against crime, illegal drug trafficking and terrorism was assessed positively.
After tomorrow’s meeting with Director of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Michele Leonheart, Dacic will leave for to Ohio, reads a statement by the Interior Ministry.
