Zoran Loncar
This, coupled with recent voluntary surrenders by generals Ljubisa Beara and Dragomir Milosevic, and the tribunal's decision to release former state security chief Jovica Stanisic and former special operations units commander Franko Simatovic pending the start of their trials, is the most favourable model of "two-way" cooperation between Belgrade and The Hague, Loncar told reporters today.
The government offered guarantees to The Hague tribunal today for Serbian Radical Party (SRS) leader Vojislav Seselj and General Dragomir Milosevic, in an effort to secure their release pending trial, the Minister added, stressing that the move reflects the government's resolve to address the problem of cooperation with The Hague.
According to Loncar, the government also confirmed guarantees offered by the previous cabinet.
