Dacic said that so far Serbia and Spain have had good cooperation, but this is a step further.
He pointed out that there are several important fields of cooperation, including the fight against organised crime and drug trafficking, since the smuggling of drugs takes place via Western Europe.
One of those countries is Spain, so there have been a number of joint actions in the past period. We also exchange information to fight terrorism, said Dacic.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister also mentioned the agreement on assistance in training of our staff participating in peacekeeping missions of the UN and the EU.
Dacic announced that an agreement on emergency situations will be signed soon, given that Spain has one of the most advanced centres for the coordination of actions in emergency situations, as well as the system 112.
The interior ministers of Serbia and Spain also discussed the political relations between the two countries and jointly concluded that they are improving and that there is much room for improving cooperation in the economic field.
