Minister of Health resigns

Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic stated today that he has submitted a resignation to his post.
Milosavljevic told a press conference that he informed Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic that he is resigning for personal reasons.
He underlined that his duties as health minister, which he performed from 19 June 2002, he saw as a professional challenge and his social duty.
Milosavljevic stressed that he set the same goal to himself before each mandate, and that was to regain citizens’ wavering trust in the health system of this country, adding that it is now obvious that the system has been improved.
