Bosa Nenadic, left, and Jasna Matic at today's press conference
Matic told a press conference that over the next several days the Ministry and the Constitutional Court will sign an agreement on setting up a single information system.
The technological platform that will be used for the Court’s e-sessions is the same as the one already implemented for the government’s electronic sessions, she added.
Cooperation with the Constitutional Court is of vast importance, as the supreme court authorities have shown readiness to improve their work and enable transparency which only IT technologies can provide, Matic noted.
President of the Serbian Constitutional Court Bosa Nenadic stressed that the agreement with the Ministry will enable a further development of the information system and the transparency of all stages of a court procedure.
This will include electronic registration and classification of court cases, scanning all reports and accounts, creating digital records, monitoring the stage of a given procedure until it is forwarded to be discussed at the Court’s session and decisions made at the session, she specified.
A single information system will secure better functionality of the Court by managing the documentation of cases being processed. It will also enable direct communication between applicants and initiatives and the Court itself, she concluded.
