Loncar said that Serbia, as a UN member, thus meets its international obligations.
The minister told a press conference that the voluntary surrender of General Milosevic is another example of resolute steps of the Serbian government in establishing full cooperation with this court.
He said that Milosevic’s surrender is the second voluntary surrender to the Hague tribunal this year, recalling the voluntary surrender of Ljubisa Beara in early October.
First contacts for Milosevic’s surrender were made last night, Loncar said, adding that Milosevic left for The Hague today at 1 pm accompanied by government officials.
