First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic and Minister of Security of Bosnia-Herzegovina Sadik Ahmetovic signed today in Sarajevo the Agreement on cooperation in the field of protection and rescue.
Dacic explained that this agreement provides better framework for cooperation in this field and pointed out that no country in the region has the enough capacity to fight natural and other disasters on its own.
This agreement helps gather all means available with the aim of mitigating the consequences of emergency situations, the First Deputy Prime Minister underlined.
Ahmetovic said that this agreement is an expression of joint commitment to intensify and improve cooperation in the field of protection and rescue of people and property from natural and other disasters.
He thanked Dacic on Serbia’s support for speedy visa liberalisation for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
During the visit to Sarajevo, Dacic visited the Operational centre of the Sector for emergency situations of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
