Maric told a press conference in Nis that the aid will be available to Kraljevo residents as early as tomorrow.
It includes 1,500 duvets, 60 winter tents, 62 heating appliances for tents, two power generators and eight tons of canned food, he specified.
Maric noted that this is the first foreign donation to Kraljevo, voicing his gratitude to the Russian representatives who came to deliver the aid.
Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Konuzin was also present when the aeroplane carrying a delegation from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations landed. He underlined that this aid is but another link in the chain of solidarity with the brotherly Serbian people.
Konuzin observed that Serbia and Russia have achieved close bilateral cooperation in emergency situations.
He also recalled that the two countries are intensively engaged in the creation of a centre for emergency situations, which will be situated at Konstantin Veliki Airport, stressing that the centre may become a global factor and a trans-European system for response in emergency situations.
