Serbia, Japan sign memorandum of police cooperation

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic and President of the National Commission for Public Safety Tomiko Okazaki signed a memorandum of police cooperation in Tokyo today.
The memorandum of police cooperation between Serbia and Japan will help to enhance and strengthen their relations in terms of police cooperation, especially concerning the exchange of information and experience in combating transnational organised crime and terrorism.
Dacic also talked with Director General of the National Police Agency Takaharu Ando.
They agreed that cooperation in the fight against terrorism and all types of organised crime is of critical importance, stressing that police forces will continue their cooperation with the aim of achieving a high level of security.
