Director of the European Integration Office Milica Delevic and Hungarian Ambassador to Serbia Oskar Nikovic signed an annual plan of cooperation today between the two countries in the field of European integration.
Delevic told a news conference at the Hungarian Embassy that the annual plan stems from a Memorandum of understanding on the support to Serbia’s European integration, signed in June by Hungarian and Serbian Ministers of Foreign Affairs Janos Martonyi and Vuk Jeremic.
She thanked Hungary on its support in the process of Serbia’s European integration and recalled that Serbia and Hungary have signed memoranda on cooperation in this area since 2004.
Nikovic said that Hungary has traditionally good relations with Serbia and that our two countries have unbreakable civilisation, social and cultural ties.
He stressed that Hungary is determined to help Serbia in its EU integration process and recalled that his country will assume the EU presidency as of 1 January next year.
