Following a tour of the works at Tornik, in which over €3 million has been invested this year, Dinkic specified that the job will be completed by 10 December, and after the New Year the artificial snow-making system will be put into operation.
He noted that summer activities will be a priority in the following years when it comes to Tornik, explaining that this includes the construction of mountain bike tracks.
Over RSD 220 million has been invested in the artificial snow-making system, which will provide enough snow for all ski runs at Tornik, Dinkic said, adding that a five-kilometre pipeline has been installed for this purpose.
The water is supplied from a nearby artificial lake, 2.5 kilometres away. This investment cost RSD 53 million, earmarked from the National Investment Plan, he concluded.
