Bradic,
who is visiting France, told Tanjug news agency that at the meeting, they underlined the achievements in the previous period and contributions of Serbian artists to French culture and vice versa.
Speaking about future projects, Bradic stressed that they particularly discussed issues related to cinematography and the audio-visual sector.
Mitterrand endorsed the cooperation between the French and Yugoslav Film Archives, pointing out the possibility of using the experience of the French Audio Visual Institute when it comes to the preservation and presentation of the audio visual heritage, Bradic explained.
The French Minister proposed that Serbian artists and institutions take part in a photography festival in Arles in the period May–September 2011 and special programmes of the Cannes Film Festival and the Avignon Theatre Festival.
Bradic said that he invited his French counterpart to visit Belgrade next year during the opening of the Film Archives.
Last night’s promotion of the “World Heritage – Serbia” monograph at the Serbian Cultural Centre in Paris was attended by over 100 guests.
The Serbian Cultural Centre presented Serbia’s cultural heritage included in the UNESCO world heritage list, which is very important for future activities of the Serbian Ministry of Culture in terms of promoting our monuments which are currently on the preliminary UNESCO lists, Bradic explained.
