Serbia, Slovenia economic cooperation on rise

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic said late today that the ratio of Serbia’s import against export to Slovenia will grow this year from 75% to 85%.
Speaking at the meeting of the Slovene business club at the Continental hotel, Dinkic stated that it is expected that Serbia’s trade with Slovenia will increase by 18% in relation to 2009, when it was at its lowest.
He noted that economic cooperation between Serbia and Slovenia has been on the rise over the last ten years and that Slovene investors are welcome in Serbia.
The Minister specified that according to data of the Serbian Import and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), Slovene investment in Serbia totals €950 million.
