The Deputy Prime Minister said that the Serbian government and the province of Lombardy signed a memorandum of understanding in February 2009 in Belgrade.
Djelic today handed over the documents to Formigoni that the Serbian government prepared for the implementation of projects in the Italian province.
Serbia wants to implement a partnership with Lombardy in culture, particularly within the project marking the 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan, as well as in the field of entrepreneurship, to prepare for the 2015 Milan fair, outlined Djelic.
Formigoni confirmed that representatives of Italian research centres will visit Serbia in February 2011 whose aim will be to organise a seminar in the field of biotechnology.
He announced that entrepreneurs from Lombardy will visit Belgrade from 31 January to 4 February next year.
