Ministry of Culture to provide funds for reconstruction of Zica monastery

Minister of Culture Nebojsa Bradic said today after making a visit to Zica monastery that the Ministry will provide funds for its reconstruction because competent services found serious damage to the façade and frescoes in the monastery caused by the earthquake.
Bradic confirmed that by the end of next week an expert team will assess the damage to the monastery and the Ministry of Culture will set aside funds for its reconstruction.
The Minister outlined that he informed UNESCO representatives about the damage to Zica monastery.
