Opening the 5th international fair of investment and real estate Investexpo at the Novi Sad Fair, Dinkic outlined that it largely depends on the municipalities how much investment will be attracted.
The Deputy Prime Minister asserted that additional incentives are necessary for those municipalities in Vojvodina where investors have not arrived and where people are unemployed so they could get the chance to work.
He specified that currently, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Subotica, Sremska Mitrovica, Pecinci and Vrsac attract almost all the investment in Vojvodina.
Dinkic highlighted that this event is a good way to inform representatives of the municipalities on how to present their potential and added that the provincial government and the state government will provide support in the future to all municipalities that have not had sufficient investment.
Through programmes for attracting foreign investment implemented by the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), one-third of total subsidies went to Vojvodina, the Minister confirmed.
At the Novi Sad Fair today, Dinkic opened the stand of the Secretariat of Local-Government and International Cooperation "Europe in Vojvodina" where he gave a presentation on the support of the Serbian government to investors.
