Deputy Prime Minister Jovan Krkobabic and a delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) reached full agreement today on the previously established project of reform of the pension and disability insurance system.
During a meeting with the Head of Mission IMF Albert Jaeger and IMF’s representative in Belgrade Bogdan Lissovolik, it was concluded that there were no differences on the interpretation of offered solutions in the Law on pension and disability insurance.
Following this meeting, representatives of the Serbian government and the IMF will discuss other important issues that are scheduled for consideration during the revision of the sixth stand-by arrangement of Serbia with this international institution.
Krkobabic will once again speak with representatives of the IMF during their stay in Belgrade, according to a statement from the Deputy Prime Minister’s office.
