Fresenius Medical Care Srbija to take on another 400 workers

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic visited the Fresenius Medical Care Srbija company in Vrsac today where a new production line will be put into operation next week, enabling the company to hire another 400 workers.

Dinkic declared that Fresenius Medical Care Srbija is a leading manufacturer of equipment for dialysis and that it plans to build a new production area with an investment of €10 million per 10,000 square metres.
He announced that the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development will grant employment incentives since the factory is important for both the health sector and also the creation of new jobs and exports.
Production Director Vojislav Bugarski said that thanks to the new production line, three shifts working five days a week will be producing three million dialysis units intended for export.
The company currently employs 328 workers. Another 150 will start working when the installation of the new production line for AV systems is finished.
The company also plans to build a new factory, for which it has bought 2.7 acres of land in Vrsac Technology Park and which will be completed in two years. Dinkic spoke with the management of Hemofarm about the plans of Stada to introduce new products in Hemofarm next year and its plan to invest €10 million.
The Deputy Prime Minister received confirmation that the company, which currently employs 2,000 workers, is not planning any layoffs and that it will provide the market regularly with all the necessary medicines.
Dinkic highlighted that Hemofarm and Galenika are the heart of the pharmaceutical industry in Serbia.
He noted that the state will help the company to be even stronger to achieve even greater exports from Serbia.
