Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic visited Fiat’s design centre in Torino today, where he was presented with a new model of the car that will be manufactured in Kragujevac, in two versions – with five and seven seats.

Dinkic said for the occasion that this is the first time that he had seen a new model of Fiat’s car that will be manufactured in Serbia for the whole world, noting that this car has a typical Italian modern design.
He added that Fiat’s leadership confirmed that Fijat automobili Srbija will employ 1,433 more workers in addition to the existing 1,000, so there will be a total of 2,433 workers employed in the initial mass production stage.
The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the Italians have already started signing agreements with suppliers of equipment that will be installed in the Kragujevac factory production areas over the course of next year.
