First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic said today that he encourages greater influence of trade unions in Serbia and that special attention should be paid to the position of workers and their rights.

Speaking at the 4th Congress of Association of Free and Independent Trade Unions (ASNS), Dacic asserted that if Serbia is not socially just, it cannot be a democratic state either and underlined that there can be no socially just state without economic development.
