Assistance to pensioners with foreign pension cheques only

Pensioners receiving pension cheques from abroad are under obligation to submit a notification from their former employee acknowledging their right to pension, within a month after the distribution of one-off aid to this group of citizens begins.
The cabinet of Deputy Prime Minister Jovan Krkobabic states that in order to receive a one-off assistance of RSD 5,000, these pensioners must also submit a bank statement citing the amount of their last pension cheque.
In line with the government decision from 16 September, pensioners residing in Serbia, whose monthly cheque does not exceed RSD 29,999, are entitled to a one-off assistance of RSD 5,000.
