Dacic acquainted Fule with reforms implemented in the interior affairs sector, voicing Serbia’s readiness to continue cooperation with EU institutions.
He also briefed him about the Ministry’s activities in the next several months and invited EU representatives to attend a Regional Ministerial Conference on Combating Organised Crime, which will be held in Belgrade from 3 to 5 October.
Fule noted that the EU is aware of how much effort Serbia has invested to attaint EU standards, adding that the decision on visa liberalisation is an affirmation of the progress it has made, in which the Ministry of the Interior played the leading role.
He underlined that cooperation with the tribunal in The Hague will be very important in the upcoming period.
The EU Commissioner underlined that Brussels welcomed the role of Ivica Dacic as Minister of the Interior in the current progress on the EU path.
