Sijakovic sends Ramadan Bayram greetings

Minister of Religion Bogoljub Sijakovic extended greetings over the holiday of Ramadan Bayram to all Muslims in Serbia.
In a letter to Reis ul Ulema Adem Zilkic and all members of the Islamic community and teachers and students in Islamic education institutions, Sijakovic voiced his wish that each individual and family spends this holiday in peace, joy and mutual harmony and love.
He affirmed his belief that religion, invigorated by a month’s lent, is the best way to permanently fortify inter-religious harmony and understanding in one country, reads the Ministry’s statement.
