Minister of Culture Nebojsa Bradic and Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Konuzin announced the opening of the Days of Russian Spiritual Heritage in Serbia today. The event will be held from 14 to 24 September.
Addressing a press conference, Bradic stressed that the event will give the Serbian public an opportunity to get to know Russian spiritual heritage and modern Russian film makers as well.
Russian artists have left a deep impression on Serbian culture and every meeting with Russian culture creates a sense of closeness and at the same time inspires admiration for Russian artists, he commented.
Russian and Serbian artists have always had good cooperation. Events like this one strengthen these ties, noted Bradic.
Konuzin recalled that the presidents of Serbia and Russia decided at a meeting in 2008 to hold such cultural events in both countries.
The Ambassador announced that next year Days of Serbian Culture will be held in Russia. He concluded that cultural exchange between the two countries has been on a high level over the last few years.
