Police to support individuals with special needs

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic visited the Special Anti-terrorist Unit (SAJ) base in Batajnica today to observe the training being given there to divers with spinal cord injuries.

Dacic stated at the occasion that the diving training course is being held by instructors belonging to SAJ, the Parachute Battalion of the Serbian Army and divers from Slovenia.

The SAJ and the police force will also arrange other similar activities in the future in order to help integrate persons with disabilities into society, he highlighted.

The SAJ has excellent diving instructors, remarked Dacic, expressing his full confidence that they will help trainees complete the course successfully.
