Pasic told a press conference in Nis High Court that introducing CMS will provide a more efficient, transparent and standardised work environment for courts.
He recalled that this programme has so far been launched in 48 main and high courts as well as in all commercial courts, and expressed the expectation that all courts will be within the same network in 2010.
During the first six months of using CMS, commercial courts have improved their efficiency by 30% with 24 fewer judges than in the same period of 2009, he said.
With nine fewer judges, the commercial court of appeal has increased its efficiency by 19% compared with last year, he pointed out noting that the number of cases older than two years has decreased by 36% while there are 51% fewer cases older than five years.
This programme will allow access into all cases via the internet, providing greater transparency of court work, Pasic concluded.
