Minister of Culture Nebojsa Bradic met today with representatives of the BBC to discuss co-production and theme projects.
Bradic, who is visiting the UK, told Tanjug news agency that during the meeting they discussed projects already implemented by the two countries as well as those that are yet to be realised.
The Minister noted that Serbian culture has been quite apparent in London these days, recalling that after a successful retrospective of films directed by famous Serbian director Goran Paskaljevic at the British Film Institute,
the English edition of a monograph "World Heritage – Serbia" was presented at the Serbian embassy in London.
He said that last night the Ministry’s delegation donated books in Serbian to the library in Fulham, where he also spoke with representatives of the Serbs’ association who were very interested in promoting Serbian culture in the UK.
Bradic explained that the Serbian delegation wants to achieve an agreement that will enable the continuous presence of Serbian culture in the UK, whether as Serbian cultural heritage, modern productions or something that is yet to develop in co-production projects and cooperation between specific national institutions.
