Dacic said that it is a common position that relations between the two countries should be developed and recalled that Serbia is the guarantor of the Dayton Agreement which was signed with the participation of representatives of Serbia, ie the then Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
The status of the guarantor of the agreement does not cover Republika Srpska only, but the entire political organisation of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Serbia endorses peace and stability in Bosnia-Herzegovina and preservation of Republika Srpska. All changes must be a result of the previous agreement of the two entities, ie three peoples, the Minister underlined.
He reiterated that Serbia absolutely supports the European integration of the region and that the European Commission approves as soon as possible visa liberalisation for the whole of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Albania.
Only in this way can mutual trust and ties between ex Yugoslav states be promoted, Dacic concluded.
