The ministers talked about police cooperation between the two countries in the fight against transnational organised crime.
Amorim welcomed the signing of the Memorandum on cooperation in the fight against transnational organised crime, which Minister Dacic signed in Brazil with the country’s minister of justice in June this year.
He also noted that Serbia is one of the few European countries with whom Brazil has signed the Memorandum on cooperation.
Dacic underlined that the signing of this document has enabled direct cooperation and exchange of information between the police of the two countries and referred to the recent seizure of cocaine in Brazil, made on the basis of information from Serbia delivered to Brazil by UK authorities.
