Serbia, Luxembourg to expand bilateral cooperation

Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration Bozidar Djelic met yesterday with Minister of Finance of Luxembourg Luc Frieden to discuss the expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Djelic told Tanjug news agency that Luxembourg has helped Serbia in the field of social issues, but also in the development of the Belgrade Stock Exchange and other financial services.
He said that he agreed with Frieden that a business delegation from Luxembourg comes to Belgrade to discuss possibilities of enhanced bilateral relations and added that student exchange has also been agreed on.
During a two-day visit to Luxemburg, Djelic headed the Serbian delegation at a meeting of EU foreign ministers who decided to propose to their countries’ parliaments to ratify the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) between the EU and Serbia.
