Successful cooperation between police forces from Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic and Security Minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina Sadik Ahmetovic agreed today that police cooperation between their two countries is exceptional, the proof of which are several successfully performed joint operations.
The Ministry says in a statement that during today’s meeting, they agreed that this is a result of successful efforts on behalf of states in the region directed at combating organised and any other crime.
Dacic said that harmonisation of provisions of the agreement between Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina on cooperation in the fight against terrorism, organised crime, illegal drug trafficking, illegal migrations and other criminal acts in underway.
He stated that harmonisation of provisions of the agreement on cooperation between the Serbian Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry for Security of Bosnia-Herzegovina in protection from natural and other disasters is in the final stage and announced that these documents will be singed in July.
Dacic pointed out that he strongly supports Bosnia-Herzegovina’s efforts to achieve visa liberalisation as well as its EU integration.
Dacic and Ahmetovic expressed confidence that police of the two countries will continue to cooperate more intensively.
