Serbia actively engaged in regional initiative for combating organised crime

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic met with his Argentine counterpart Aníbal Florencio Randazzo today and talked about police cooperation between Serbia and Argentina.
Dacic, who is in Argentina today during a six day visit to Latin American countries, expressed his gratitude to Argentina for its principled stance regarding the issue of Kosovo-Metohija and for not recognising the unilateral declaration of the independence of Kosovo-Metohija.
Dacic held a lecture, “Serbia – the fight against international organised crime and drug trafficking” at the Argentine Foreign Policy Council and emphasised that Serbia’s vision is to become a guarantor of stability in the region and to take a leading role in the fight against organised crime.
Dacic explained that Serbia is actively engaged in several European and regional initiatives for combating organised crime and international terrorism, as well as all other forms of serious crime that threaten public safety and security.
